Variety description

'Tarmo' is an exceptionally healthy, robust sea buckthorn selection from Finland. It is a male pollinator variety with compact growth. 'Tarmo' seems to be the ideal pollinator for 'Tytti' because of the same Finnish origin, but strictly speaking it doesn't matter; the variety is just as suitable for other female sea buckthorns.
