Variety description

The fact that our unpopular bindweed and field bindweed have distant relatives that produce such beautiful foliage and wonderfully tasting storage tubers is quite remarkable. However, the bright purple-red, solid-colored tubers of Sugaroot® 'Purple' are another new revelation! Packed with anthocyanins, they are also ahead from a health perspective. What's exciting is the fact that the sweet Ipomoea tubers fill you up, but don't put a strain on your blood sugar level thanks to the indigestible inulin sugar. They also lower cholesterol levels. The anthocyanins that give 'Sweet Purple' its crazy color also protect the heart and blood vessels and have an anti-inflammatory effect.

It remains to be noted that the Sugaroot® 'Purple' sweet potato is not only the most striking and healthiest variety, but also delivers very high yields. Only the growing season is a little longer. They should therefore be planted immediately at the beginning of May.
