Variety description

The rhubarb Springbarber® Kickoff® sets new standards for green-stemmed rhubarb. Springbarber® Kickoff® is currently the earliest variety from the Lubera breed and is ideally suited for forcing or forcing. But even untreated in the home garden Kickoff® shows its strengths to the full. The first stalks can be harvested early in April and by the end of the harvest at the end of June, new leaf stalks will constantly grow back and provide the hobby gardener with a large number of tasty stalks. The petioles are of uniform length and thickness and are light green in color, both inside and out. Now on the outside at the base, the stems shimmer in a light pink. Hardly any other variety comes close to Springbarber® Kickoff® in terms of taste. With the full-bodied aroma and notes of sour apple and citrus fruits, Kickoff® is an asset to any kitchen.
