Variety description

With the autumn raspberry Primeberry® 'Grand Heritage' we are not reinventing raspberries. However, it shows that size can also pay off and that something better can be created from it. You will now ask yourself what the actual differences are from the predecessor variety that gives it its name exist. This is explained quickly and easily. Primeberry® 'Lubera Grand Heritage' has the larger fruits, is more productive and is easier to cultivate because the canes do not grow as long - the final height is around 180 cm. At the same time, Primeberry® 'Grand Heritage' is also very healthy and robust and copes well with many locations.

The large, red fruits shine in a rich red colour and become increasingly darker as they fully ripen. The pointed-conical shape with the medium-sized druplets also makes the fruit look very attractive. Primeberry® 'Grand Heritage' doesn't have to hide its taste either. The fruits are pleasantly aromatic and taste fruity and fresh, caused by a clear but pleasant acidity that is underpinned by a lot of sugar. In contrast to other raspberries in the Primeberry® group, Primeberry® 'Grand Heritage' ripens relatively early. The first ripe fruits appear at the end of July. The harvest period then lasts until mid/end of September.
