Variety description

The ornamental strawberry 'Happy Eyes'® is a very flowering variety of the Double Pleasure® series. The special thing about it are the two-coloured petals. Together with the yellow centre, the flowers seem to really shine - therefore the name 'Happy Eyes'. The variety forms many runners and is also otherwise very vigorous. It is therefore very suitable for hanging baskets and pots where it can grow over the edge. Since flowers are also formed almost immediately on the stolons, Double Pleasure® 'Happy Eyes'® is very willing to bloom and as a consequence many berries are also formed. They are slightly heart-shaped and have a pleasant aroma that can be compared to that of classic market varieties, but does not come close to the ornamental strawberry aroma of 'Delirose'.
