Variety description

The ornamental strawberry Double Pleasure® 'Hanging Pink Wonder'® is enormously versatile. It can climb a scaffold, hang down in a hanging basket or cover the ground in a bed and look stunning anywhere! Its versatility is due to its impetuous growth and strong tendency to form runners.

Another highlight are the flowers of the ornamental strawberry Double Pleasure® 'Hanging Pink Wonder'®. They sit on long stems, are bright pink, semi-double and the individual petals are slightly twisted, giving them the appearance of little pinwheels. The downward bending flower stems and the runners, on which flowers are also quickly formed, create the hanging habit of this exceptional strawberry.

The first berries ripen from mid-May, they are medium-sized, roundish and juicy-sweet. The plant flowers and fruits throughout the summer until the end of September.
