Variety description

The 'Glen Coe' raspberry is a special variety that impresses with its dark purple and aromatic berries. It comes from Scotland and is a cross between the thornless variety 'Glen Prosen' and the black raspberry 'Munger'. Its thornless shoots make it particularly easy to pick. The canes are strong-growing and have blue frosting and produce a higher yield than many other raspberries. The berries ripen as early as June. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and further processing and raspberry beetles are not interested in this plant.
