Variety description

The sea buckthorn 'Gardens Gift' is of Russian origin. Like 'Botanica', it also tastes much more fresh and pleasant than its German relatives. This is due to the lower acidity of the berries, which are harvested from September onwards.

'Gardens Gift' grows bushy and reaches about 3 m in height. It only forms thorns in the upper area. The variety needs a pollinator. We recommend 'Pollmix'. The yield is large and the berries taste aromatic-sweet-sour.
