Variety description

The cultivated blueberry 'Blueroma'® shines with very aromatic, juicy giant fruits. Ripening time falls in August and is quite conclusive. 'Blueroma'® is high-yielding and grows bushy and upright to a height of around 120 - 150 cm. It is quite adaptable and will thrive in a variety of locations as long as the soil is acidic. Frost hardiness is excellent. After 3 - 4 years, the oldest shoot is cut away every winter to encourage new growth. As with all cultivated blueberries, only use acidic fertilizers.
