Variety description

The autumn raspberry Primeberry® 'Autumn Chef®' is probably the best-tasting, large-fruited autumn raspberry from the Lubera® breed. In terms of taste, 'Autumn Chef®' is definitely on the same level as 'Tulaeen'. Together with the summer-bearing sister variety 'Summer Chef®', you can cover the entire high and late summer with extremely aromatic fruits.
The fruits of 'Autumn Chef®' are very large (up to 5g), bright red in color and conical in shape. In comparison to other strong autumn raspberries (> 170cm), Autumn Chef® is more of a medium to late ripening variety. The ripening period begins in early/mid-August and goes well into autumn. But the special thing about Autumn Chef® is that this variety also produces a very good yield on two-year-old canes. Here again the harvest is very early, in June.
