Variety description

Those who love the small, aromatic wild strawberries will enjoy 'Alexandria'. The variety bears from early summer to autumn and above all: it does not form runners! This is perfect for integrating into mixed perennial or vegetable beds, where runners are rather annoying. If you want to use 'Alexandria' for ground cover, simply plant it a little more densely.

The 'Alexandria' strawberry loves a sunny to semi-shady site. It is absolutely hardy, evergreen and very easy to care for. The flowering period lasts from May to early autumn. The berries taste best when fresh.

The June-bearing strawberry 'Alexandria' is also suitable for cultivation in containers and troughs on balconies and terraces.
