Variety description

Blueberry 'Emil' is a hybrid of V. corymbosum and V. angustifolium. It grows compact, upright, bushy, about 100 cm high and belongs to the group of lowbush blueberries. 'Emil' is very suitable for growing in tubs on balconies and terraces. In autumn, it is also a beautiful eye-catcher with its yellow-orange foliage.
'Emil' ripens from mid-July to mid-August. The berries are very aromatic and are particularly suitable for fresh consumption. A second variety significantly increases fruit set.
