Variety description

With the Highbush blueberry 'Blues Brothers' we can unpack superlatives with a clear conscience: it is the most compact, bushiest and highest-yielding blueberry that we know. The fertility is so exceptional that the bushes are often more blue than green in early August. 'Blues Brothers' ripen on long clusters, the fruits are medium-sized and light blue. 'Blues Brothers' also have a lot to offer in terms of taste. They taste sweet and aromatic with a pleasant acidity. The ripening period lasts from the end of July to the end of August.
The compact growth makes the 'Blues Brothers' an interesting option for the balcony and terrace or as a supplementary plant in the bog bed. The variety is deciduous.
