Variety description

Goji 'Sweet Success'® is strong-growing and rich-fruited. Strictly speaking, that would be nothing really extraordinary for a goji berry, but 'Sweet Success'® has another trump up its sleeve: the berries are really, and unreservedly, sweet! Goji 'Sweet Success'® is therefore wonderfully suitable for eating fresh because the sweetness perfectly defuses the goji-typical, slightly bitter notes.

As a strong-growing goji, 'Sweet Success'® grows about 2 m high. Due to its only moderate branching, the variety is well suited for growing on a trellis. Gojis love sunny, windy locations. Heavy winter pruning promotes growth and flowering, as gojis fruit on new wood.
