Variety description

It is often said that Redlove® apples are primarily sour varieties. This cannot be completely dismissed, as the red dye in the apples not only creates a different taste, but also a fresher, more sour taste. Redlove® 'Era®' is different, because this Redlove® apple has an extremely good sugar-acid ratio, which is reflected in a fruity, fresh and sweet taste. The medium-sized to large fruits are rounded in shape and the fruit skin is colored dark red almost entirely. Inside, Redlove® 'Era®' apples are largely red in color. Redlove® 'Era®' reaches ripeness for picking and consumption around mid-September. The apples can then be stored in the natural storage until Christmas. As already described, Redlove® 'Era®' has a very balanced taste between sugar and acid. Redlove® 'Era®' is appreciated by both lovers of tart apples and lovers of sweet apple varieties. As a tree, Redlove® 'Era®' grows rather weakly, but is extremely productive and of course also scab-resistant.
