Variety description

Crispa® Nibbling® is the perfect red snack gooseberry. It is already ripe starting at the end of June and it is a delight straight from the bush. The fruits remain hanging for weeks, becoming darker red and increasingly sweet. You don't have to harvest them all at once. The negative, soapy aftertaste that certain overripe gooseberries have is never found with Crispa® Nibbling®. The variety is characterised by very high yield reliability. This makes it predestined for cultivation in containers. The spination is not on the same level as the Easycrisp® varieties, but it is clearly reduced.
