Variety description

The dwarf apple tree Maloni® 'Sally®' is the taste counterpart to the sweet Maloni® 'Lilly®'. Because Maloni® 'Sally®' is the slightly sour dwarf apple tree. The small to medium-sized apples of Maloni® 'Sally®' are bright red in color and have a pointed calyx pit, also called a fly. The apples have a firm texture and a good, balanced sugar-acid ratio. This means that the fruits of Maloni® 'Sally®' do not taste too sour but are pleasantly refreshing. Maloni® 'Sally®' ripens in the second half of September and is ready to eat straight from the tree. However, Maloni® 'Sally®' can also be stored well into February.
