Variety description

The columnar apple Malini® 'Fresco®' is the ideal columnar apple for lovers of sour apples. The dark red and tall apples have a refreshing, sour taste and are very juicy with a rather firm texture. The Malini® 'Fresco®' apples are ready to pick from October, but should then be in storage for a few weeks. Only in storage does Malini® 'Fresco®' develop its full potential and become really good. The fruits can then be kept in storage until February.

Malini® 'Fresco®' is one of Lubera®'s stronger-growing columnar apple trees and can grow up to 3 m high. Like all Lubera® apples, Malini® 'Fresco®' is resistant to scab.
