Variety description

Everbarber® Pinkbarber® is the rhubarb variety that comes closest to the ideal rhubarb: an excellent reblooming property, numerous and thick leaf stalks with an intense red colour. This now (almost) all applies to Everbarber® Pinkbarber®. However, the inner coloring of the leaf stalks is not as intense as with Redbarber®, which is why a pink-colored pulp is produced during processing than a bright red one. Everbarber® Pinkbarber® compensates for this with both the yield and the general health of the foliage. This means you can harvest delicious rhubarb stalks throughout the growing season. In terms of taste, Pinkbarber® is like a typical rhubarb with an intense rhubarb aroma and an intense but not unpleasant acidity.
