Fact sheet

Growth: heat-loving plant; for an optimal yield, however, it should be planted as early as possible (from mid-May); yields an average of around 100 pods and more per plant, which easily yields 200+ nuts

Ripeness/Harvest: from mid-September, when most (+ 50%) of the leaves have turned brown

Fruits: large pods with mostly 2 nutlets, the nutlets have light pink seed coats

Taste: fresh, dried or roasted edible; the drier the fruit, the nuttier it tastes

Variety description

'Justpink'® is most comparable to the usual peanuts from the trade in terms of the appearance of the fruits. But it is anything but boring because 'Justpink'® is the (not)JustPeanuts® variety with the largest and most reliable yield. One plant yields on average around 100 pods, which means 200 or more kernels. The bushy, branched growth obviously provides more assimilation area and more flowers - and thus more yield.

'Justpink'® should be planted in early to mid-May. If there is a risk of late frost in the early period, the young plants should be protected with fleece as a precaution.
