Fact sheet

Growth: heat-loving plant; for an optimal yield, however, it should be planted as early as possible (from mid-May); up to 60 pods and more per plant possible, which makes up to 180+ nuts

Ripeness/Harvest: from mid-September, when most (> 50%) of the leaves have turned brown

Fruits: very large pods with mostly 3 - 4 nutlets, the nutlets have dark red seed coats

Taste: fresh, dried or roasted edible; the drier the fruit, the nuttier it tastes

Variety description

The peanut 'Justmore'® has been given the right name because it simply produces more than the others: the pods of 'Justmore'® consist on average of three kernels, often also with four kernels. The entire thing looks almost like a string of pearls and amazes even "inveterate" gardeners...

But these are not all the good qualities of 'Justmore'®: in addition, it copes better than average with damp, cooler years, similar to 'JustBlack'®, and thus stays green longer in autumn. Since 'Justmore'® basically grows better in our climate than other varieties, you can still plant it at the beginning of June with a chance of success. However, we still recommend planting in early to mid-May.
