Variety description

The gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki yellow' is the yellow counterpart to 'Hinnonmaki red'. It is also a classic, older gooseberry variety with spination, shrubby growth, low susceptibility to mildew and regular yields. 'Hinnonmaki yellow' is also perfect for the home garden. The yellow fruits are slightly hairy, sweet and burst-resistant. The harvest time starts from the middle of July.
