Variety description

'Golden Everest' is the classic yellow variety of autumn raspberries. It is fast-growing (> 200 cm), vital and has a good young cane growth. The long and healthy shoots are densely covered with thorns and bear the first ripe fruits from mid-August. The fruits are medium-large, broadly conical in shape and light yellow to golden yellow in colour. The taste of 'Golden Everest' is the typical taste of a yellow autumn raspberry - superficially sweet and mildly aromatic with relatively little acidity.
