Variety description

'Black Satin' is a thornless blackberry that flowers and fruit on the previous year's rods. It grows vigorously and requires a framework to which the tendrils, which are up to 1.5 m long, can be attached. If you pull the tendrils more horizontally, the result is a higher yield due to the lower apical dominance.

'Black Satin' is very floriferous and high-yielding. The fruits are large, somewhat soft, very juicy and aromatically sour.
